Frank Olschewski Ackermannstra§e 15 D-22087 Hamburg eMail: fao@folsch.de homepage: www.folsch.de LogStatistic and LogStatistic Config are freeware, you can use and distribute them for free. This includes the distribution as a part of shareware- and freeware collections on floppy disk, CD and so on. If you often use LogStatistic, you should register it (use the registration page on my homepage , or write me an eMail ), so I can tell you about updates or bug fixes. I developed LogStatistic for my own purpose. If only a few people tell me, that they use this extension I may stop working on it if it has the features I need. You may tell me for what you use LogStatistic, so I can add more features for this. System Requirements: Ð Macintosh with 68020 or PPC processor or higher. Ð System 7.0 or later. Installation After decompressing the application package run the application "LogStatitic Config", to installs or updates the extension "LogStatistic". What does LogStatistic? LogStatistic records every startups and shutdowns of the computer to a log file. To configurate LogStatistic use the Application LogStatistic Config. I wrote LogStatistic as a security tool. I told someone not to work with my computer if I am not at home. To be sure that he does what I say I can install a password protection toll, so he cannot login to my computer. But this is not a good way, becaus he think that I do not trust in him. And on the other hand I cannot see if he trys to login, gecause all password protection tools that I know does not record the failed login trys. The LogStatistic Extension is a background application without a user interface, it will de launched at startup time and terminated at shutdown time. Version Information There are nearly no functionality changes in this version. But this version profits from changes made to the code shared with others of my applications I made meanwhile the development of these other applications.
